Ab Rogers was born in London in 1968 and trained as a cabinet maker. In 1989 he moved
to Liverpool where he set up a small company specialising in custom made furniture. He then set up Ahead Ahead, a multidisciplinary design and production collective, organising events, exhibitions and educational workshops. In
1993-94, Ab sailed around the Mediterranean and Caribbean, through the Panama Canal and crossed the Atlantic three times. In 2004 he set up his own studio; Ab Rogers Design is a
multi-disciplinary design practice, which combines graphics, product design, interior design, packaging design, installations and branding. The Tate Modern, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Science Museum are among his institutional clients.
Currently he is working on a large scale permanent exhibition for ACMI, creating a
