Kate Bezar is best known as the one-woman founder and publisher of ‘Dumbo feather, pass it on.’, an award-winning ‘mook’ (book x magazine) featuring in depth interviews with people who have followed their dreams. Now in its fifteenth edition, it has a devoted and growing fan-base. Based firmly in Australia, it has readers and subscribers all over the world. It’s now been four years since the first issue hit newsstands and as well as her roles as editor, publisher, mail-girl, warehouse manager and tea lady, Kate also contributes to other publications, gives talks and does fun projects on the side. Kate loves making mobiles and finding elephant memorabilia at flea markets. She dislikes newsagents who put ‘Dumbo feather’ in the maternity section and finding the start of the sticky tape. What inspires her? The pursuit of individual passion: ‘All I can do is be me. Whoever that is.’ Bob Dylan.
