Glenn Melenhorst holds a degree in Graphic Design/Animation, and Film and Television. Glenn is regarded as one of Australia’s finest character animators and designers in the industry. He has over twenty years’ experience in the film and television industry and is a published children’s book author and illustrator. His book ‘Little Boys’ was shortlisted for the 2006 Crichton Award. As animation director, Glenn has amassed a wide range of experience with both traditional 2D Cel and computer-generated animation. For six years Glenn ran his own company, Zephyr Animation and VFX.
In 1999, Iloura acquired Zephyr and Glenn became Creative Director of Iloura.In his career to date, Glenn has directed animation for over 500 commercials.
Recently completing work for Paramount Picture’s ‘Charlotte’s Web’, Glenn has directed
a series of commercials for Toyota and is now working on a Holden Astra commercial with local director Mark Toia.
