Anette moved from Munich to Paris in 1990, where she worked with Alex Jordan in the renowned cultural political design group, Grapus. Later, as a co-founder of the design collective Nous Travaillons Ensemble, she was involved
in designing books, posters and identities for cities and cultural institutions. Since 1993,
when she started her own studio, Anette has continued working in the social and cultural field, drawing on her knowledge of German typography traditions with bold French-inspired imagery for clients such as the City of Paris,
the French Ministry of Culture, Museé des Arts Décoratifs, Le Monde and Théâtre d’Angoulême.
Anette won the Gold Medal at the 2002 Brno Biennale, the Honorary Prize in Lahti, 2003,
and the Kunsthof Rüttenscheidpreis in 2005
for her work in poster design. In 2004, in association with Vincent Perrottet, she received the Silver Medal at the Tehran Biennale, and the Grand Prix in Ningbo, China.
